Thoughts, Training Log Up to Oct 31, 2009

Thoughts:
1) There's a sense of urgency, but my brain is just fried. Not the best way to approach exams, especially when you know you're underprepared.

2) Celcom 3G is becoming worse by the minute. On weekdays, I only get 3G at midnight from my hostel. That's not what I payed for.

3) Listened to Zaim's study group methods. I think I'm happy to continue with our current set up, with Mondays being Ortho festival days, and incorporating Coax's idea of Saturdays for seeing patients in the wards.

4) Prof Azmi reminded some of us to mingle with others. I at least have my gym members who I do chat with (usually after my sessions); how about you? At home I try to chat with friends, although that has become a bit harder with a tight schedule whenever I go back home. And I always lurk forums to read up on hopefully intelligent discussions and contribute if possible (not much). I find that many medical students including myself are compensating with an increased Internet presence; with an unstable life scheduling (except for my astonishingly consistent 3-4 days of training in the gym per week), that's not at all surprising.

5) Along with the theme of my very consistent training: do you have a goal? Have you made a plan to achieve your goal? If you can answer these questions, you are more likely to succeed than to fail. Fail to plan and you'll remain weak/stupid/whatever that's negative you want to put here.

Training Log:
I focused to get more reps in my bench and front squat days, and achieved them. Increasing the reps to all my assistance exercises has turned the intensity up a notch.

Monday - Deadlifted 104 kg's for 9 reps

Tuesday - Benched 61 kg's for 11 reps. It was supposed to be 64 (I forgotten how much it was supposed to be), but it's still an improvement.

Thursday - Front squatted 74 kg's for 11 reps. These were brutal (I'm still sore and beaten), and since the fellow gym members I asked to spot didn't really spot, I really had to focus on not failing.

Friday - Overhead pressed 40 kg's for 9 reps. My overhead press is shit weak; is there really any difference between 39, 41 and 44 kg's? Might as well push it.

Conditioning went along as usual, but added 2 measly kg's to the bar. For next week I'll train only 2 times, Mon & Wed, and restart the cycle next month and aim for higher reps. This will synchronize training with the study schedule (rest week during break week).

My weight has gone back up to 85 kg's, but I don't know if it's fat/water/lean mass. I haven't measured myself in awhile, but since the clothes are becoming looser still, why should I?

I bet that was " annoying"...logbooks on murder and torture and thieving and raping and profits....and BIC got a load of ACE and GE got a load of RITE- AID and UGGS....and more profits.
And then , there's the QUEEN, in her LESEM with ESSO- SQUESSO - BRESSO...and they got the logbooks on that ,too and that's with KILLA HILLA & KILLA COLES, and boy, it sure is " annoying.".
And what's worse, and absolutely the most " annoying" is PSYLOPA with SYROCIS and SYNCTO .
